You are trying to climb the highest mountain in the world, and you actually make it. You are trying to put your flag on the top of the mountain when the spirit of the mountain come to you saying that you are not respectful of the mountain and you will get a punishment: you have been turned into a snowball. The spirit promised to break the curse if you are able to reach 2000 meters away.

Your duty is to arrive at 2000 Meters, you'll win, but....
